The UK’s only sailing school dedicated to teaching women to sail benefited from our expertise when we organised a bespoke press trip to showcase the brand’s unique qualities.
Girls For Sail, based in the UK and the Caribbean, wanted trusted and valued editorial to share their values to a larger audience.
That’s where we came in. Working with Girls For Sail and freelance journalist Sian Lewis, cobaltink planned and executed a trip to the British Virgin Islands where the growing brand could show off their sailing skills.
The resulting coverage peaked with editorial in The London Evening Standard which each night reaches almost two million discerning Londoners in print with a further 500,000 visiting their website.
The trip to one of the most beautiful places on the planet went like a dream. Sian fell in love with Girls For Sail and the British Virgin Islands while Girls For Sail loved showing Sian the ropes .. literally.
Annie O’Sullivan, of GFS, said: “We loved having Sian onboard with a view to her writing about her experiences with us. The coverage has been amazing and to have such a great reach across London, my home town, has been beyond all our expectations.”
Myrid Ramsay, Managing Partner of cobaltink communications, added: “Fitting together a great product and showcasing it to a wide audience is what we do best, what we do every day. And it was a pleasure working with Sian to make this unforgettable trip a reality.”
